What access gives you

Polygon for practising on yourself, building and running a Guest Day lesson for a class, and reading the report on every student and every answer.
Student
Taking part in the games of a Guest Day lesson.
How to join
One email, four things in it
- Write to us — Send an email to [email protected].
- Use your Google Play address — Write from the address you sign in to Google Play with. We register that address with Google, and installation will not work from any other one.
- Choose a username — Any username you like. It is what you will sign in with.
- Say which access you need — Teacher or student. Registration is the same either way, the permissions differ.

Android build 1.0.241
Available NowWhile the Google Play review is in progress, the application can be installed directly. This is the same build we submitted to Google.
Installing is at your own responsibility: the Google review has not been completed. The build is signed by us, and it contains no advertising and no payments.
You need an Android device running version 9 or newer, and an account from us. If you do not have one yet, write to us first.
Five steps
- Download on the device itself — Open the release page on the phone or tablet and download yakki-edu-1.0.241.apk. Downloading on a computer will not help you install it.
- Open the downloaded file — Android will say that installing from this source is not allowed. That message is expected.
- Allow this one source — Tap Settings in that message and allow installation for the app you downloaded with, usually the browser. Android asks once, for that app only, and you can switch it back afterwards.
- Install — Return to the file and tap Install.
- Pass Play Protect — If a window says the app is unknown, choose Install anyway. This appears for every application that does not come from the store.
When the application reaches Google Play, the store version will carry a different signature, so switching to it will most likely require uninstalling this build first. Accounts and results live on our server, so nothing is lost.
Where we are
What beta means here
The application is under Google Play review, and until it clears we do not publish a public download. The beta is free, it has rough edges, and finding them is the point. If something breaks in your classroom, we would rather hear it from you than discover it a year later.
