Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 12 June 2026

Accessibility is not a checkbox for YAKKI — inclusion is one of the platform's core design goals. The same team that builds dyslexia-friendly learning modes builds this website.

This website

  • Target standard: WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
  • Semantic HTML, skip-to-content link, keyboard-navigable menus.
  • Color contrast of text meets AA ratios; information is never conveyed by color alone.
  • Pages declare language (lang) and direction (dir); Hebrew and Arabic versions are built right-to-left.
  • No autoplaying media, no flashing content, reduced-motion preference respected.

The YAKKI EDU application

  • Learner interface available in the learner's first language (English, Hebrew, Arabic, Russian, Amharic).
  • Dyslexia adaptations (adapted typography, voice input, reduced visual load) — currently at pilot stage.
  • Audio support in listening and pronunciation activities.

Known limitations

  • This website is currently published in English and Russian; Hebrew and Arabic versions are being rebuilt and will follow.
  • A formal third-party accessibility audit has not yet been performed; it is planned before public launch.
