Version 1.0.305: what changed in the teacher's work

On 1 September 2026 version 1.0.305 went out on Google Play, closed testing track. Testers had been on 280 until now, so a good deal has piled up. Below is only what was checked on a device or on the production server. There are no promises in this list.

The pupil logs in on their own

A child entered by the teacher into a class could not log into the app at all. Now they can: with the school login and the password from the letter sent to the parent. There is a single field on the login screen, "email or school login", and the teacher sets up nothing extra.

The parent's confirmation link was fixed along the way. It led nowhere, so consent could not be given, and without consent a child cannot be admitted to lessons. The link works.

A lesson resumes where it stopped

Stop a lesson halfway, come back, and it continues from the same place. From another device as well: start on the classroom tablet, finish on a phone. Results are not lost when the connection drops either. Whatever the pupil managed to do reaches the report.

Language

The login screen appears in the language of the device. Tasks and prompts inside the lesson are in the pupil's own language, chosen by the teacher: Hebrew, Arabic, Amharic, Russian, English.

Four fields in the pronunciation family were returning Russian instead of the chosen language. We checked all fourteen server endpoints of that family, and all fourteen are clean. Something else surfaced there: eleven of the fourteen pronunciation games were receiving only half the fields from the server, among them audio, hints and the scoring threshold. That is fixed too.

Practice and assessment are now separate

They used to be one and the same. In practice the pupil gets a series of exercises and mistakes do not count towards the grade. In assessment there is a single attempt. The mode is visible to both sides: to the teacher in the report, and to the pupil inside the game, so they know whether it counts.

The pupil report shows real data

Before this release the report showed zeros for everyone, whether the child had worked or not. It now shows what actually happened.

Dictionary library

The teacher creates their own dictionary for the class level. Words from the school syllabus are kept out of it: the syllabus is already covered, and there is no point in duplicating it by hand.

Spoken dialogue

It works: the child speaks, the app hears and answers.

Polygon

Polygon is where the teacher tries out what they give to the children. Teachers now see their own lessons there and can play a whole lesson of their own from start to finish. No trace is left in the class statistics.

Numbers

The catalogue holds 107 games. App version 1.0.305, alpha track of closed testing on Google Play.
